i am not afraid of grief or pain
i am not afraid of growth or change
not anymore

pain. pain provokes us to evolve
change :: movement is all that exists
grief, grief keeps us alive
growth will not out without it

we are governed by our beliefs
we lay our lives down at their feet

so when they say
pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your understanding
hear it
understand
enlightenment is a destructive process
it will not be comfortable

avoiding pain quickens death, dulls life
avoiding grief pauses flow
stagnates, decays

there is only one goal
follow your big, messy heart (that is your truth)
follow it beyond your beliefs
attachments
expectations
of what others want your truth to be
from who you thought you were
your heart knows
